Yes – You can move to take up permanent residency in Queensland. However, if you have been in a NSW declared hotspot or travelled via NSW, you may need to apply for an exemption.

Yes – You can move to take up permanent residency in WA. Travellers from very low risk states and territories are not required to quarantine. NSW is currently medium risk requiring a G2G pass, isolation and exemption.

What does stage 3 lockdown mean for me?
Moving to a new house and removalist services are allowed. Some states have introduced stage 3 lockdowns.
What does stage 4 lockdown mean for me?
There are currently no stage 4 lockdowns in Australia. Using the UK and New Zealand as an example a stage 4 lockdown will completely restrict non-essential movement. Therefore, in the event of a Stage 4 lockdown. We would expect that no non-essential travel from your home would be permitted.
Can Coronavirus COVID – 19 be passed through furniture?
Although unlikely, it is still possible. This has forced operators to put procedures in place to ensure sanitisation of all trucks, surfaces and objects exposed during the removal process. Our transport companies are practicing the social distancing measures advised by the Australian government with great results that being no community transmission. FNQ can provide a contactless delivery with some trucks having GPS tracking, so you can track where your goods are at all times.
What happens to my scheduled move if further restrictions are put in place?
